gifts

I’m just thinking of some gifts i want to give to my friends for their birthday or xmas even. So far, I gave lynn a month of WoW, lol, i paid for his subscription. FOr Brendan, I’m going to get him Wrath of the Lich King expansion since I know he can’t afford it and it’s about to come out and I want him to play with us and not feel or get left behind. For my sister’s birthday I know i want to get her either the Hello Kitty or Curious George balloons I saw at Party City. I’m still not sure what else to get her. I’m probably not going to get anything for my brother’s birthday since I just bought him his new computer and moniter. >< I’m not getting anything for Josh for xmas! He didn’t even texted me on my birthday! D: Oh well, the gift I gave him last year was pretty awesome so i’m counting it as a 2 year gift lol. I did an old painting of one of his photographs. ^_^ yea i’m awesome and love my friends too much ><

Saturday night

On Saturday evening, Joe and I decided to hang out. After chickening out on going to a haunted house downtown, we went across the street for some drinks and sushi! Omg. so yummy! Let’s see, Joe had his Philadelphia rolls and i had the salmon rolls. Also, Joe had some pineapple mailbus and I tried their margarita and had a pineapple malibu myself. After that, we decided to go to one of our favorite spots , Habibi Cafe, a hookah bar. There is the waiter that I thought was cute and that night he had this awesome mohawk! I don’t know if it was the drinks but something gave me the courage to compliment him on it. Courage? Yea, if u\yo get to know me, you would know it was courage. lol. I was happy, lol, because he said he liked my style. ^_^ So as we were leaving he shook Joe’s hand and he actually gave me a hug. =O!! And invited us back on Friday to the bar because it is his brithday and he also said he won’t be working.  So I guess there is one successful attempt to try to socialize. LOL! I told Brendan and he said he was proud of me. xD

trying to make friends

Last week, i found myself in somewhat unfamiliar situations: me trying to socialize. lol. I know that sounds silly, but I’m very shy and not very talkative. >< my friend Brendan is always wanting me to talk to people and try to make new friends or even find a boyfriend. D: He says he’s eager to see my behavior around a guy that I’m dating or whatever, yea i don’t know why, Brendan is weird. x)

So the first incident was in my photography class: a guy was playing WoW on his laptop and i thought to myself, hey! i like WoW too. x) I wasn’t looking for anything specific from this guy i guess, i was just trying to actually talk to someone in my class. lol. >< So i go up to him and notice he’s leveling a shaow priest Blood Elf in Shadowmoon Valley and said something like “Horde huh?” since i’m Alliance. And all i got back from him was “oh, yea, haha” and then shows me the polar bear mount he got from BlizzCon and then goes back to questing. And that was pretty much it, lmao. I’m socializing failure. o wells.
