Democratic Convention1

First off, i’d like to say that I pesonally do not follow politics that much. My friend, Joe, does but I haven’t had the chance to hang out with him this week at all. =(

I got a chance to see parts of what I think what the convention on TV, since it was on every channel. I think it was the ending because Obama’s family came onto the stage and fireworks were going off. I must say it was quiet the showcase, very extravagant. One thing I would like to mention is that I liked how Obama’s wife and daughter were dressed. It was a nice style of pink for the young family.

My name is Shabnam. I’m half Pakistani and half Native American. I was born in Arlington but grew up in Dallas. I have an Associates’ Degree in Liberal Arts from Richland College. Last year I attended the University of Texas at Arlington in pursuit of a Bachelors’ in Fine Arts. I found fine arts too boring and easy so I decided to come to UTDallas and try the Arts and Technology program because I also enjoy playing videos games.

I’ve come to accept the fact that I’m a total nerd. I’m not ashamed; I love my interests. My favorites games at the moment are World of Warcraft and Super Smash Brothers Brawl. I like WoW alot, I’m on it almost everyday. D: I have a 70 Night Elf Rogue and a 67 Human Warlock ( i hate questing, that’s why she’s not 70 yet D:<). Ouu! My character of choice on SSBB is Lucario, I like his counter.

I love sci-fi; my favorite shows are Stargate SG1 and Atlantis, and Battlestar Galactica. I actually own the entire series of  SG1 on DVD. xD

hrmmm…what else? OH! My friends. They mean the world to me. I don’t have many but I’ll take quality over quantity any day. My friends better be reading this so, Hi jerks!
